As NSR baseball prospect, Josh Harvey (WA), prepares for is impending departure to the US this August, his father Rick, shares an update on the progress of his son’s college application.

“Things have taken off quickly for Joshua over the last few weeks. He has received offers from both Missouri Valley College and SUNY Jefferson that we have continued to follow up on.
Josh has emailed and spoken with both coaches (McEachern and Northrop respectively), and Josh, Linda and I have been regularly emailing the coaches and college administrations. Linda has completed all of the on-line applications and paperwork for both colleges, except for a couple of final items such as Josh’s passport (still to be delivered) and travel/health insurance.
We have had lots of family discussions about the decisions ahead, but at this stage it would be fair to say that Josh is leaning towards Jefferson.
The best news so far is that we received an email yesterday from Jefferson advising that Josh has been accepted in to SUNY Jefferson and that the admissions paperwork and I-20 are on the way. I will forward you 2 email chains from this morning withe the latest developments.
Thank you to all of the NSR Australia team for their help so far.”

Since hearing from Rick, NSR can confirm that Josh has accepted his offer from SUNY Jefferson and is counting down the days until he leaves for the US!

We look forward to checking in with Josh before he leaves for the US!
