NSR sat down with Claudia Hazel, one of our promising golfing prospects, to talk about her dream road trip around the US!

1. If you could visit 4 places in the USA, where would it be?

California- Experiencing the beaches in Los Angeles and visiting Beverly Hills both serve as drawing cards for Claudia’s trip. Apart from anything else, LA has some incredible golf courses that Claudia would love to play!

Seattle- The East coast of the US has a huge range of interesting places to visit. In particular Washington, the home state of Seattle. Don’t mistake this for Washington DC on the east coast! Seattle is home to some great monuments including the Space needle and many museums!!

New York- Claudia says that she would love to experience the buzz and the atmosphere that one can only find in New York.  Visiting Time Square and Syracuse, in addition to the many museums within the New York region, are all dream monuments on Claudia’s bucket list.  Claudia goes on to detail her desire to attend a professional baseball game in New York.

  1. What time of the season do you wish to visit these places?

California- Summer

Florida- Summer

Seattle- Spring

New York- Autumn

  1. Who would you bring on your road trip?

“I would bring my dad so that we could play golf together”

  1. How would you travel to each place? (Car, train, plane, etc)

Claudia picks to hire a car or catch a plane between cities; however, as Claudia explains, she believes that she would like to catch public transport within each city as it would be the most efficient way to make short trips!!

  1. Have you ever been to these places before?

Having never been to these places, Claudia highly anticipates her trip to the US, not only to study and play golf, but to travel. Expanding one’s knowledge of the world is absolutely imperative to one’s personal growth!

The more I look into it, the more excited I am getting. I can’t wait to go to America!!”

6. Describe where you would start off, go next and end

I would begin in the warmer places and work my way to the faster paced cities such as Seattle and New York.  Claudia explains how important it is to relax and recuperate before taking on strenuous cities to create a well-rounded holiday!! Claudia is greatly excited for her trip to the US, looking forward to making her mark in the US golfing world, experiencing college life and travelling around the country.

In the meantime, Claudia practices between her home clubs of Eynesbury Golf Club, and Bacchus Marsh Golf club. NSR wishes Claudia the best in her preparation for her impending trip to the US in 2016.
