Congratulations to Matt Bucello!
NSR was lucky enough to sit down with soccer student athlete, Matt Bucello and his mother Pemla to celebrate his incredible SAT result. Matt scored an incredible:
760 in chemistry, 780 in physics and a perfect score of 800 in Mathematics Level 2!
While Matt’s number one passion lies within soccer, he would love to pursue a career in Engineering and Sports Science! This career will fall in line with his sporting drive. Pemla goes on to state that while she and her husband, Robert, are hoping for Matt to get into a great University with a good standard of soccer within the US, their top priority is to get him into an institution that will give him the best education possible.
For those athletes out there yet to sit their SAT test, Matt parts with some great advice, which was not to study harder but to be smart about how you study “…find the way that you learn best …if you learn by writing something down 100 times then do it…”
Matt explains that a majority of his study was done for his upcoming VCE exams, stating that the questions that were asked on the SAT fell into line with his current line of study for the VCE.
