NSR Australia soccer athlete, Jack Mitchell joins the Crimson Wave ahead of the 2017 soccer season in the US.
“Through an amazing opportunity given to me by NSR, I was offered a place at Calumet College of St. Joseph and took it with open and grateful arms. I am excited about the sporting culture at CCSJ and I look forward to experiencing college life…”
The Albury local looks forward to further developing his current football skills under US coaching and experiencing a higher level of soccer than what is available to him in Australia.
“…. I am also looking forward to improving my general fitness, my ball skills, my strike rate and to playing with students from all over the world…”
It is evident that CCSJ is equally as excited to welcome the newest recruit to the team. Coach Olson goes onto express his enthusiasm:
“We are excited to add Jack to our attacking group heading into next season. I really like his size and athleticism. I was impressed with his attitude during our conversations and he’s the type of player we were looking for to bolster our attack. He has some versatility to his game and I’m looking forward to getting him here and start training with us.”
