Soccer superstar from WA, Indiana Lysaght, started playing soccer at the age of eight years old, and has never looked back.
“I love it because I couldn’t live without it,” she explained.
“It’s my outlet and the one place I can go and feel 100% at home. I love it because it pushes you to the limits and takes so much dedication to reach your potential, both personally and for the team.”
The young star got involved in NSR to further her opportunities as a female soccer player.
“I got involved in NSR because I couldn’t pass an opportunity as incredible as this. It’s not often that female athletes (especially in soccer) get opportunities like this,” she explained.
Her future was set after meeting her Prospect Manager, Matt Wade.
“After meeting Matt Wade, I was 100% sure that this is the path I wanted to take. He got me so pumped,” she said.
“A good friend at the time was also heavily involved in NSR and only a few months from moving to the States and after seeing the success that he had with the program, it just reassured me a little bit more that this is what I wanted to do.”
Indiana shared that she will be studying pre-medicine, as well as looking to gain other life experience.
“I’m hoping to gain new skills on the soccer pitch and a lot of experience, playing in another country and league,” she said.
“I can’t wait to travel interstate for games! And to be living and breathing soccer in an American College… It’s the dream!”
You said it, Indiana!
