Items that can pose security concerns include:
- sharp objects (no scissors!)
- sporting goods (e.g. no hockey sticks)
- tools
- biological hazards
- martial arts weapons
- some foods including creamy dips, jams, and salsa
- liquid contain decorative items such as lava lamps or snow globes
Tips to remember:
In your carry-on, you can take no more 3 bottles containing no more than 3.4 ounces (100 ml) of liquid. Bottles must be placed in a quart-sized, clear plastic, zip-top bag
If you want to bring medications, it’s a good idea to always have your prescription with you or at least the original packaging. This will save any hassle that you could get from immigration.
