A Finnish trend emerging in the world of skiing is a sport called kitewing. Combining the actions of snowboarding and kite surfing, competitors catch the wind in combination with the speed of the snowboard to propel themselves off of the ground. Coasting down the edge of mountain ranges, the competitor raises great speeds and heights before coming back to earth!
