Ready to compete with the top-level athletes but still want the all American College experience? This school offers that all American feel located in a small city in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Don’t let that fool you though as this school currently sits fourth for the number of National Team Championships won.
The cowboys/cowgirls as they are known as have won a total of 51 National team titles. They have won national titles in wrestling (34 National Team Championships), Golf (10 National Team Championships), Cross Country (four National Team Championships), Basketball (two National Team Championships) and Baseball (one National Team Championship).
They compete in the Big 12 and have 16 NCAA sponsored sports (eight men’s sports and eight women’s sports). The men’s sports include: baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, tennis, track and field and wrestling. The women’s sports include; basketball, cross-country, equestrian, golf, soccer, softball, tennis and track and field.
Their mascot is Pistol Pete and their school colours are orange and black. The school is Oklahoma State University-Stillwater.
