When did you get involved in hockey?
I have been involved in hockey for around 11 years, ever since I was five years old.
What position do you play?
Midfield, Striker.
Why do you love the game?
I love the ongoing challenge of the game, with countless skills and tactics to be learnt I found it exceedingly rewarding achieving new heights and developing as a player.
What made you interested in getting involved in NSR?
Ever since returning from the USA in 2012 I have fallen in love with the country and I made it my goal to study abroad in the country. Thus naturally when NSR presented me the opportunity to make my dream a reality, it was a no-brainer, I knew I had to be a part of the program.
What did it feel like realising you’d been accepted into the program?
I was over the moon, it was the most incredible feeling words can’t encapsulate the happiness I was feeling that afternoon.
What makes you so excited about living in the US?
Being able to expand my life experiences by travelling and living away from my family, although it is daunting, is an amazing opportunity that I feel I will thoroughly enjoy. Additionally, the incredible opportunities presented to students and the breathtaking sites also excites me.
What would you study when you go overseas?
As it stands I am not 100% sure what I would study, however I love PE, Technology and Economics.
