What are you most looking forward to about your US College adventure?
In all honesty, everything! I’ve grown up watching it all in movies, but I never thought I’d actually get the opportunity to live it! I’m looking forward to the lifestyle and rich culture of the US, I can’t wait to travel and live like a local! I cannot wait to meet my hockey team and form strong friendships that will surely last for a very, very long time! I absolutely love traveling, I’ve done a fair bit already which I am already so thankful for, but I am just so excited that I’ll get to live like an American student, only with a much funnier accent!
I cannot wait for the college itself, too! The colleges in America are so beautiful, and I’m looking forward to being able to make it my home for the next few years! I’m coming for you, America!
Where do you hope you are in five years’ time after this experience with NSR?
Hmm, this is a tricky one! I have a few plans for when this amazing experience is unfortunately over. Of course, if I get the chance to stay in the US after I have completed my degree, then I will definitely grab that with both hands!
As I am looking at a health related degree at college, I would also like to come home and join the Royal Australian Air Force as a nurse, I’d already have my degree for it! In five years, I hope to be somewhere good, somewhere happy and somewhere surrounded by the people that I love, no matter what opportunities arise along the way. Thank you NSR for this experience, I know it will be amazing!
