What do you love about football?
There are so many reasons to love soccer, it is such a great game! By playing soccer I am able to build by social network and also spend great time with friends, and meet so many new people. It’s a great way to maintain fitness and encourages a great lifestyle, enabling me to challenge and push myself to be my best. I love the rush I get while playing in goals and the support and encouragement that exists between teammates.
Why did you want to get involved in NSR?
I decided to try out for the NSR program because I was always planning to go to university after year 12, and have always loved travelling and soccer, so when I heard that I could travel to America to play soccer while getting a degree I was ecstatic! Because of NSR I am now able to pursue my three loves at the same time, while being able to meet so many new people and experience so many new things.
What will you study at college?
At the moment I am not certain about what course I would like to study while over in America, however I have always had an interest in going into a legal or crime field, and am considering the possibility of studying criminology.
What excites you about living in the USA?!
I am so excited that I have the opportunity to live in America, and am looking forward to so many different things. I am looking forward to being able to travel and experience new places and also a completely new lifestyle, as well as meeting new people and of course playing soccer! I would really love the chance to see as many American landmarks as I can, celebrate Halloween and Thanks Giving and experience a white Christmas!
