Looking at Nicholas’ amazing success on the golf course, you would hardly believe the hot-shot has been playing for a mere two years.
Between working and school, Nicholas Trezise (VIC) sets time to play two to three times every single week.
“I love the social side of it, connecting with other people and meeting new people is always a bonus,” he said.
Nicholas had “never really thought about” taking his golf to the next level by going to America.
However after receiving an invitation to trial with NSR last year, Nicholas explains that his initial thought was, “I better have a red hot go at it”.
“I thought I’d go out, give it a go, and if I don’t get in, I don’t get in, but if I do, then that’s great!”
This positive and relaxed attitude proved to be successful for Nicholas, who proved himself through each stage of the NSR signing process.
These days, Nicholas is eagerly waiting to go to the States, for both sporting and academic reasons.
“I’d like to learn more about horticulture, which I’m doing at the moment, but I’d like to get an advanced certificate”, he shared.
Nicholas made the decision to commit to the SAT’s, in order to give him the best opportunities available, and recently sat a practice exam.
“I put myself on the waiting list and luckily I got a spot. I wanted to do it to get a feel for it, and see what it was like, because I’m doing it again in October. I think I did alright to be honest. I was kind of nervous going in there, but I thought I’d get a feel for what it’s like and give it a go.”
Ultimately, our incredible athlete is excited to “go over there and see America.”
What an AWESOME attitude Nicholas has!
