nat fullbrookSoccer superstar Nat Fullbrook (NSW) started playing soccer for an Under-6’s team, kick-starting his love of the game.

“I just love that it’s a beautiful game, everyone can do something. You don’t just have to score to feel good, you can have an assist,” he said.

“I just love the game in general”.

When the young talent was just 13 years of age, he was approached to trial for the state representative team.

It was from this moment that he realised he wanted to “have a crack” at pursuing soccer professionally.

Years later, the NSR athlete takes the next step in his soccer journey, leaving Australia on the 25th of July to commence placement at Lake Tahoe Community College.

“Lake Tahoe looks amazing I just can’t wait to go there, see the sights and meet new people and experience a whole new country,” he said.

Nat explains that he can’t wait to experience a new training schedule.

“I think it’s going to be amazing training five days a week, and get to play with world-class players,” he said.

“I talk to the coach a whole lot. He seems like a real nice but very determined bloke, so I’m pretty keen about that.”

Although excited to meet new people, Nat also feels the added comfort of travelling with someone he knows.

The star will be starting at Lake Tahoe with a close friend from his home-town, Aiden Shaw.

Aside from the anticipating to start playing soccer, Nat’s looking forward to starting his academic future, studying to be a qualified teacher.

“I’m hopefully going to teach marine biology, but we’ll see how it goes,” he explained.

Ultimately, Nat can’t wait to get his US college pathway journey underway, and reap all the opportunities it has to offer.

“I’ve always really wanted to go back and explore America in general, the whole of it and do as much as I can. I went to Disneyland when I was young, and ever since then I’ve always wanted to go back,” he said.

Sounds awesome, Nat! We hope the U.S fulfills all of your dreams!
