aiden shawAdmittedly the shiest one out of the trio, Aiden says that he’s feeling both nervous and excited to depart for the States.

“I’m a bit nervous, but I’m pretty excited to get over there,” he said.

“I’ve been nervous for a while, because I’m definitely of the shier person of the two,” he explained.

Although Aiden is nervous, he admits that having his older brother Jaryd, and best friend Nat Fullbrook along for the ride is re-assuring him.

“I think it brings more confidence out of me. I can actually rely on them a little bit more, so I’m not as scared. I’m pretty happy that I’m going over with them,” he explained.

The trio have been family friends for close to 15 years, experiencing everything from primary school together, to the NSR program.

Although Aiden is keen to get better at soccer, he reveals that his main focus will be getting his degree in early childhood education.

“The first thing is probably getting the degree, but always trying the best in my football,” he explained.

Aiden also reveals that he hasn’t left Australia before, therefore is keen to travel the world through his NSR experience.

“I haven’t been overseas, so it’s going to be a whole new different experience, so I’m pretty excited about that,” he said.

You’ll have the most amazing time, Aiden!
