NSR is proud to announce newly signed baseball star from NSW, Sydney Miller!
Sydney is beyond excited to join the NSR team, and realises that getting a US college experience is going to be hugely beneficial for his own educational and sporting development!
After starting baseball at age four, it’s impossible to keep Sydney away from a baseball field. The end-of-the-game pitcher explains that he loves the feeling he gets when he “pulls off a big play”.
“When I’d come in and we were down two or three runs, and I love just sort of helping out and pulling off that big play,” he says.
Sydney can’t wait to get to America, for the amazing sporting opportunities it will offer him.
“I’ll just be closer to everything, and obviously their fields will be a lot better. I’ll have a professional coach at college that will be able to take my raw talent and sculpt it in to something better,” he said.
Not only excited for the sporting benefits, Sydney shares his excitement about “learning a whole new culture”, and being “completely” out of his comfort zone, and meeting new people.
