This is a sport that the Australian Women’s National team always challenges in. We have won multiple World Titles, Commonwealth Titles and Olympic titles. It is also a sport available to play at college level in the U.S.
At college level, field hockey can be played in Division I, II and III. The most successful women’s field hockey team is Old Dominion University having won nine titles with the University of Maryland close behind on eight titles. The most recent winners of the NCAA women’s field hockey national championship went to the University of Connecticut and it was their fourth title.
In division II, the most successful team is Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania having won 13 National team titles. The most recent champion however was Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
