This week Jillian shares a great story about a student who displayed serious determination to sit an exam; rain, hail or flood…..
“Once a student showed up to the exam 5 minutes before it started, soaking wet from head to toe. He sat down and took the test.
“WHAT HAPPENED?” Everyone was dying to know as they watched him dry during the test.
The student lived quite a distance out of town, and it turns out the huge rains the night before had swept a small bridge, that was the way they drove into town, downstream. He didn’t want to miss the test, so grabbed his calculator and id, swam the river, and called a taxi on the other side.”
