Why You Should Attend An EducationUSA Information Session
In this weeks episode (Episode 49) we speak about EducationUSA and the information sessions they run across Australia, New Zealand and the world. There are certainly things you need to be mindful of when attending one of these US Scholarship seminars. We talk about the information that is being shared about US College and the different pieces of information that may need a second opinion.
EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 425 international student advising centers in more than 175 countries. Basically, they promote the US higher education system to students around the world through presentations and online marketing. They are here to help you through the process of applying to study in the U.S. They often run general information sessions, sports scholarship information sessions and pre-departure services. They are also active in the community, attending schools and events providing information for U.S. study.
They have a few ‘offices’ In Australia, now we have put the offices in quotes because these ‘offices’ are the US Consulate generals in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth and Auckland.
EducationUSA are all about their 5 steps. If you go to an information session or if you look at their website, you will see their five steps.
