Erin Goode from NSW checks in for her fourth diary entry, letting us know all about the class structure she’s experiencing over in the States at Manhattanville College in New York.
“Classes:
Having been out of school for almost a year, I was worried about how rusty I might be! Whilst it’s not a complete walk in the park and homework comes in thick and fast, it’s not nearly as hard as I thought it would be! Having smaller classes sizes is a big help as I’ve gotten to know my professors and tutors better, making it a lot easier to get involved in class and ask for help.
In addition, as freshman on the field hockey team we have mandatory study hall once a week for 2 hours after practice. It has been a great way to add a bit of structure to our study schedule, as it can be a bit of a juggle sometimes with training, class and the all-important naps!
I’ve got so much more to report on as it really has been an action packed couple of weeks, but I’ll have to save it for next time!
Cheers
Erin.”
We can’t wait to hear from you next time, Erin!
