Maree, mother of soccer star Riley Harrison (VIC), recently returned from a trip to the States to catch up with her beloved son. Maree wanted to share with us her update on the trip she’s had!

“Just thought I’d drop you a line with a little update on Riley.
We’re just back from visiting and it was great to catch up with him.
We met in NYC, did Boston, Washington and then drove down to Bethany where we spent a couple of nights at a great little B&B nearby.
We met Riley’s Coach Sean, and Assistant Coach Scott.
Scott also played in Ballarat for The Red Devils just after Riley, but an injury sent him home to Scotland and then to Bethany when the job came up.. Small world!
Nice fellows and we had the campus tour.
Beautiful grounds at Bethany and Riley’s accommodation is quite good in Campbell Village.
Own room in a four room apartment, two bathrooms and a shared area. Very cosy. Riley is very happy there and having a great time.
The town itself is tiny, the countryside is really pretty, undulating and green.”
