Dylan Becker (NSW) got involved in soccer at the age of 5, admitting that he “wasn’t very good at the time.”
“Over the years I have immensely increased my skill with running with the ball, passing and shooting,” he explained.
These days, you can’t keep Dylan away from the soccer field.
“I love everything about soccer, the intense moments you always have when you have the ball, the opportunities you could do at that very moment is just beyond our capabilities,” he said.
“Scoring goals when your team really needs them is one of the best feelings you could ever feel when playing a sport.”
The soccer star has high hopes for a career in soccer.
“My ultimate dream would have to be playing for a professional club…the thought of being on the pitch with other professional players is just mind-blowing,” he said.
Dylan eagerly awaits his American adventure, and feels nothing but positivity.
“A lot of things excite me about going to the USA, the dream of playing soccer for a college team is just amazing, I’m so happy to be with this program.”
“I hope to gain a lot more skill and training with this program, it’s just such an amazing opportunity for myself and any other athletes willing to do this sort of stuff, it’s the perfect kick starter for my dream,” he said.
