Our incredible new golfing prospect, Cameron Webb (VIC), has only been playing golf for roughly three years, but is almost playing off scratch.
“My whole family played, so I thought I wanted to join in,” he explained.
“I definitely enjoy it.”
Cameron admitted that he’d never considered an alternative pathway after high school, until he heard about NSR.
“It was interesting. I never really thought of it, but then I got a letter about the trials, but I couldn’t attend it because I was overseas,” he explained.
Still keen to get involved, Cameron fought for an opportunity to be noticed.
The young talent said that he can’t wait for his NSR journey to begin, because it’ll be a new experience.
“I definitely think it’s more interesting than college over here, just the atmosphere,” he said.
Although excited for his future, the young golf star is relaxed about the outcome of his journey.
“I want to see how it all pans out, and there’s definitely some options I want to look at, but I just want to finish college and school and see where I’m at with everything,” he said.
Aside from experiencing stellar academic and sporting success, Cameron also bares the title of a National Bagpipe-playing Champion.
“I’ve always had a love for Scottish music,” he said.
WOW. Cameron, you’re going to be a star!
