There’s not many things Matthew Collins (VIC) loves more than soccer.
“I love that you can have the freedom to be as creative and magical as you want to be, there are no limits to what you can do,” he said.
This love and passion for the game lead Matt to recently sign with NSR Australia, in the hopes of furthering his soccer career.
“I am so excited I wish I could go over to the US right now, I can’t contain my excitement,” he shared.
“My main hope is to be hopefully scouted by an elite level team and eventually be playing professional soccer.”
Although Matt has set himself high football goals, the talented young rising star wants to see success in his academic life, too.
“I am really looking forward to going to a great college in the US and training hard, playing hard, studying hard and bringing success to the college both for academics and soccer,” he said.
“I hope to be playing professional soccer if that does not eventuate then I would possibly enquire about further study in the US or returning to Australia to pursue a career in physiotherapy or a similar field.”
